Behind the Scenes of The Last Jedi
If you needed a little more on this next instalment, this will get you in the mood.
One thing is for sure, Rian Johnson’s influence on this universe has definitely created a lot of intrigue with a promise of new storylines that will be “unexpected and right” along with a fresh take on the saga.
Johnson himself describes it as “shocking, real and honest” which does make you wonder what to expect. It creates both, a feeling of excitement, but also a small concern that we’re going off into territory that may not sit well with the fans.
One thing we can rely on is the fact that we know Lucasfilm are keeping a very tight grip on all of their films at the highest level which was seen on “Rogue One” and again recently with the Han Solo movie where we saw Phil Lord and Chris Miller replaced by Ron Howard while at the latter half of production. Both Kathleen Kennedy (Lucasfilm’s President) and Disney will be very protective of this franchise so we can take some comfort in this.
I have the feeling that all of the above will apply and ultimately, we will stay on target for the next film and all of the Star Wars anthology movies.
