Blade Runner 2049 – International Trailer 3
Since the casting news of Ryan Gosling, along with Harrison Ford reprising his role of Rick Deckard and of course Ridley Scott’s involvement as producer, the excitement has been high for this sequel. The choice of Denis Villeneuve as director seemed appropriate and the trailers so far have really endorsed this decision. But for all the film afishionados and disciples of the original, we should also ‘tip our hat’ to Director of Photography Roger Deakin for these beautiful scenes that almost dominate the trailers. There is a real connect in style and ambiance to the original film but with enough difference for it to feel fresh.
The more we see of this world and of the characters, the more obvious it becomes that we should expect a follow up that won’t disappoint.
