“Kingsman” was the London East End answer to James Bond influenced by British 60’s TV spy characters like John Steed from “The Avengers” and was a breakout success. So much so that we will soon see all the characters back, including some that would seem unlikely.

 

In their recent panel at Comic-Con actors Taron Egerton, Colin Firth, Jeff Bridges and Channing Tatum began by chugging back a shot of bourbon before noon in reference to the new American Kingsman equivalent who are known as Statesman, with their cover being cowboy whiskey distillers. The mediator Jonathan Ross (well known UK TV presenter) did defend this by pointing out that it was past 7pm in the UK. But it was Halle Berry who put the men in their place by downing an entire water glass of alcohol.
