Stephen King’s – “It” Trailer
This project has been in the making since 2009 and even though they committed to this first film, telling the story from the kid’s perspective, there was no guarantee that the second part of the story with the adults fighting back would go ahead. But now, on the back of the film studio insider reactions, they have ‘green-lit’ the second film which is great news for fans of this well-known King novel.
“It” or Pennywise was originally brought to the screen on TV with Tim Curry as the clown terrorising small town America. Now it’s Bill Skarsgård who does look every bit as terrifying.

And in case you are wondering on whether they are going the safe route with kids being the main characters in this first half of the story, here’s what producer Dan Lin had to say about it:
“It is a rated-R movie. If you’re going to make a “Rated-R movie”, you have to fully embrace what it is, and you have to embrace the source material. It is a scary clown that’s trying to kill kids. So of course that’s going to be a rated-R movie. The kids are amazing. You very much get a Stand by Me vibe as far as their camaraderie and the way they joke with each other and that they really care for each other. They do have a scary clown that’s taken over the town of Derry, so it’s going to be rated R.”
Here’s the full length trailer.
